The Parapara Frame is the basis of our Parapara Pergola design.
The frame itself is completely adaptable and customisable, your Parapara is limited only by your imagination. Our timber frames provide the superstructure for a range of different infills, such as straw-bale, adobe or even hempcrete.
Timber frame construction is one of the oldest forms of building that remains in use today. The art of timber framing dates back to some of man’s first primitive structures; using large greenwood timbers slotted together to form stunning, natural structures without the need for nails.
We use Douglas Fir to construct the timber frame using traditional methods of mortice and tenon joinery, using large greenwood timbers and only hardwood pegs to hold the structure together.
